Author
Kosta Rethymniotakis was born in Athens and grew up in Heraklion on the island of Crete, Greece. He completed his studies of Medicine in Rome, Italy and received his doctorate in Nuclear medicine at the Metaxa Memorial Anticancer Hospital in Piraeus, Greece. In recent years he lived and worked in New York City. Upon his return to Greece he established a medical practice. Starting in his childhood he has been writing stories and poems and began writing novels and essays on philosophy for local newspapers. Studying the history of art and being close to nature and to his patients has helped him to write. He believes that travel can fulfill the life of a human being. Wherever he has traveled he came to the realization that society is simply a collection of souls who can develop their spiritual and moral sense only when they "take flight" together. All human beings share the same problems whether they are wealthy or destitute. Through his writing, he dares, he accuses, he provokes and finally he overturns hidden dimensions to discover the truth that hides in human souls and to liberate human thoughts and worries from nightmares = to fill them with hope. The author adores changes in life because it is change that makes one's life unique. Through the pages of his books he wishes all readers a "bon voyage".
